Coolie No. 1

After a streek of losses, Anand Milind has come up with a decent album. Just like normal, they come up with a catchy lead song for the album. "Aa Jana Aa Jana" sung by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Shanu, is just that, a "normal-Anand Milind-catchy-lead-song." "Husn Hai Suhana" is an odd number. Sung by newcomer Chandana Dixit and Abhijeet, it seems to be an Anu Malik song with the Anand Milind touch. Included in this jumbled piece of music is a little South Indian music, this is what rasies it to a higher height than a song like "Ay Ay Sorry Sorry" from Zaalim. "Main To Raste Se Ja Raha Tha" rendered by the famous Yagnik-Shanu couple, has very dumb lyrics, which is typical fo the Anand Milind-David Dhawan-Sameer combination. "Tere Pyar Mein Dil Deewana" has a different touch than the first few songs. This is what makes it attractive, even with the typical Anand Milind beat.
Coolie No. 1 is a typical David Dhawan-Anand Milind-Sameer album with little new to it. Some songs were particularily interesting, well. It might stay as No. 5 on the market for a few weeks and then dissappear into the cemetary where all the other typical now-a-day albums wasp away and die.
