Another number one hit by A.R. Rehman. Rangeela Re is an excellent number sung by the always lively Asha Bhonsle and Udit Naryan's son, Aditya Naryan. Hai Rama is a pretty typical Hariharan-A.R. Rehman song with the annoying vocals of Swarnathala in the middle. A.R. Rehman's music is excellent. Kya Kare Kya Na Kare is a beautiful number by Udit Naryan. Pyar Yeh Jaane Kaisa Hai is a A.R. Rehman ghazal. Kavita Krishnamurty and Suresh Wadkar are suitable for the songs. Tanha Tanha Yahan Pe Jeena is the best number of the album. With the outstanding vocals by Asha Bhonsle and the exceptional dance by Urmilla it is number one on most of the charts in Bombay. Yaaron Sun Lo Zara is the only disappointment of this album. Udit Naryan and Chitra are good in their parts, but the music and the lyrics don't deliver. Mangta Hai Kya is one of the most unique songs I have heard lately. A.R. Rehman and Shweta Shetty both render the song sensationally. Watch out for Aamir Khan on this song in the movie. The Sprit of Rangeela is great bunch of tunes mixed together. Looks like a box office hit -- not only the audio but the video also!
