The music and promos have created a strong buzz within and outside the industry, but the big question is – will first time director Abhishek Varman be able to convert a ‘best-seller’ in to an equally entertaining motion picture ?.

Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment joint venture:

“The title ‘2 STATES’ is adding up to Number 22 – this octave of Number 4 (Rahu) is symbolized as a good person who lives in dreams and illusion under the influence of others and who awakens only when surrounded by danger. It is also a number of false judgments. As a number in connection with future events; its warning and meaning should be carefully noted” explains Bhavikk.

“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will definitely appeal to its target audience (mainly youth) who frequent multiplexes of metros/big cities etc.” predicts Bhavikk.

“Plus, fortunately or so, the year 2014 which adds up to Number 7 (Ketu) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 1, 2, 4 and 7 people, places, dates, names etc. and the film’s title vibration (22) along with the destiny number arrived from its release date – 18th April 2014 (Number 2 – Moon) will only prove beneficial in this case” he adds.

“Also, the fate of most films rely heavily on the personal ‘stars’ (read luck) of its main protagonists and in this case both Arjun Kapoor (26th June 1985) and Alia Bhatt’s (15th March 1993) fortunes are decent enough; and that shall help pull in the crowds in hordes. No prizes for guessing a sparkling chemistry they would share on-screen; and a lovable performance they will deliver; thereby winning people’s hearts and all the more fans in their kitty” he adds further.

“Not to mention the able support received from actors of caliber like Ronit Roy (11th October 1965), Amrita Singh (9th February 1958) and Revathi (8th July 1966)”.

“Last but not the least; producers Karan Johar (25th May 1972) and Sajid Nadiadwala (18th February 1966) will be praised for their collaborative effort in coming up with a fun-filled, lighthearted family film which would work not just in ‘2 States’; but even beyond....” signs off Bhavikk on a positive note.
