Kristina left Australia to make her career in Bollywood, with her family's support as they saw her being very attracted towards the industry. On the release of her debut film, her whole family along with friends had a big celebration and went to the nearest cinema in Australia to watch the film.

Kristina, who has got a lot of positive responses for her debut, was quite emotional about her family watching the film and mentioned "Family was extremely proud and excited to see the film. They even photographed themselves with the standees of the film & cheered loudly when I came on screen. Support from the family is so essential & I'm glad that my family has always been there for me."
