As per trade and distribution sources, Big Pictures has reportedly acquired the India and Overseas theatrical distribution rights of the Rajkumar Hirani directed Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer, '3 Idiots' for Rs. 65 crore.

As may be recalled Studio 18/Indian Film Company were keen on buying the rights but the deal fell though.

The audio rights of '3 Idiots' have already been sold to T-Series for 10-12 crores, while producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra still has the satellite and home video rights to sell.

'3 Idiots' is all se to release this Christmas.
