In a meeting of two great stars of Indian cinema, 'Bollywood Badshah' Shah Rukh Khan met Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and spent about half-an-hour with him. The meeting, which took place away from media glare, lasted about 30 to 35 minutes, Shah Rukh Khan told a private TV channel at the airport before leaving for Mumbai.

''I am overwhelmed by his gesture,'' Shah Rukh said of Rajni's participation in the movie. In the city to watch yesterday's Champions League T20 final and to release the audio and trailer of the Tamil version of his film 'Ra One' this morning, Shah Rukh said Rajnikanth was cheerful and hale and hearty in Chennai today. Rajni was cheerful and happy,'' he said, adding, Rajni wished good luck for the science-fiction film 'Ra One', slated to hit the theatres on Deepavali day. ''I can't compare myself with the great Rajini sir. I wanted to take his blessings, to be a part of the film. He and his wife sent me dinner--they are such kind people. So, I just wanted to go and thank them personally,'' the Bollywood icon, who has the rare distinction of sharing screen space with two mega stars, Rajni and Kamal Hassan, said. ''I was happy to see Rajni hale and hearty. It's really nice to see him and to convey my regards of everyone in the unit,'' Shah Rukh said.
