''We hope that peace will soon return to Jammu and Kashmir, especially the Valley, so that Bollywood cameras once again shift over to this side to capture the charming and picturesque beauty of the region,'' the showmen told reporters at a press conference here.

The directors were in the town for a short stay ahead of their visit to holy Katra town to act as a judge in annual devotional song singing competition that started on the first day of the Navratra as a part of the festival celebrations.

They said not only the Kashmir but the Jammu region too have beautiful locations, which are fabulous for a shoot.

''The Union Tourism Ministry will support the Jammu and Kashmir government in exploring tourism to give a boost to the economy of the state,'' Mukesh added.

He expressed that nobody prefers to go abroad to shoot their films when the places like Kashmir and Jammu are existing in the country.

''We want early end of Kashmir turmoil, which will again force Bollywood to visit Kashmir with fanfare.'' David said Kashmir is the best location he has ever seen to shoot but it is unfortunate that the prevailing situation has kept the industry away.

Ganesh Jain, Managing Director, Venus Records and Tapes Ltd, was also present on the occasion.
