For Amrita who has always been a family girl, it was next to impossible to spend X-mas away from family. The versatile actress requested her director Anil Sharma to make an exception and let her fly back home to Mumbai, he agreed but on one condition that she would not get a day off on New Years as it was an action packed schedule and Amrita is in almost every scene of the film.

Having always prioritized work the actress agreed immediately. When contacted the actress told DNA "Yes it was a perfect X-mas. Visiting old churches, and walks in the quaint Bandra lanes is customary, and cutting the X-mas Cake with a toast of wine is almost compulsory"

But isn't the actress gonna miss partying hard on New Years? "Yes surely, when most people leave the city to celebrate new year, for me Mumbai is the best place in the world to bring in the New year..This year I'll be in Bhopal but my heart will definitely be in Mumbai..I'm not complaining but yes I'm feeling low.

However we hear that in the midst of a no holiday schedule Anil Sharma is treating the unit to a new years party. The team has planned a bonfire few, a treasure hunt and housie, and music and dancing.
