'Hope Aur Hum' is Rupert Fernandes' debut film as a composer. In an interview, Fernandes had stated that he has interpreted the songs and the background score with just one instrument, that is, the guitar. One is happy to see Suraj Jagan and Bhoomi Trivedi being credited as the singers for "Hope Aur Hum", the title track. While the former, despite being a competent vocalist is heard rarely in Hindi films these days, the latter has been leaving a strong mark with every singing opportunity ("Raam Chahe Leela" - 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Raam Leela', "Udi Udi Jaaye" -'Raees') she has been getting.
