 As soon as I mention Khosla Ka Ghosla, chances are that a big smile instantly forms on your face. Well, here is another reason to smile—the director of Khosla Ka Ghosla, Dibakar Banerjee is coming out with Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, featuring Abhay Deol, Paresh Rawal, Neetu Chandra and Archana Puran Singh. The film is ready to release on November 28. Yes, the film features comic moments. However, never fear, it won’t be one of those films tagged as a comedy which instead of making you laugh makes you burst out into tears wondering why you bothered to watch the film (cough…Singh Is Kinng…cough, cough).
Featuring enjoyable Punjabi flavored music, OLLO has been shot extensively in Dilli. The film is inspired by the real story of a Delhiite named Lucky Singh who becomes one of India’s most wanted thieves. Robbing the wealthy and the poor alike, Lucky Singh is what I call an equal opportunity thief! However, instead of portraying Lucky as a one-dimensional character, the film takes us on a journey through Lucky’s tense childhood, the friendships he forms later on in life, and, of course, the many robberies he commits. Here’s looking forward to witnessing the adventures of Lucky Singh on November 28!
