We had broken the news about how Hrithik Roshan was offered Sidhdharth's role in 'Rang De Basanti'( promptly plagiarised by other sites/sources ) , which he declined . It now seems that gossip mills want to cash in on it and add a new fictitious chapter , by floating a rumour about how Shah Rukh Khan too was offered Madhavan's role in the same film , which he refused .

Sources close to the superstar say that Shah Rukh Khan doesn't even remember discussing the the project with anyone , let alone being offered Madhavan's role and declining it !
