It is so easy for a star to create hype around himself . The trick lies in letting a media person in to a 'secret'before anyone else knows it . The 'secret could be concocted or a baseless story but does the media really care?

In a bid to outdo his/her competitors , the press person privy to this knowledge loses no time in reporting it . Does he/she even bother to check the veracity of the report ? More often than not,the answer is a big 'no'.

One suspects that the story about John Abraham being signed by Adlabs for 4 films for a combined fee of Rs.16 crores had it's origins in a similar kind of situation . For the fact is that Adlabs has not signed John for 4 films and definitely not for 16 crores!

There may have been talks between the corporate and the star . In all probablity , the star may have demanded the quoted amount , hearing which Adlabs may have never got back to the actor . But the news doing the rounds is that John is richer by Rs.16 crores already .
