After Rishi Kapoor , the last of the legendary Kapoors' cut down on his acting assignments , the question on every lip was - Is this the end of the (male) Raj/Prithviraj Kapoor era ? It was a relevant question after the screen dominance of Prithviraj Kapoor , Raj Kapoor , Shashi Kapoor , Rishi Kapoor , Randhir Kapoor and even Rajeev Kapoor .

However , the good news is that Rishi & Neetu's goodlooking son Ranbir Kapoor is making strides in leaps and bounds and making a definate splash in Bollywood .

Even though his debut film , 'Saawariya' , by Sanjay Leela Bhansali , is yet to be released , he has already got the biggies lining up for him . First on the block is Rajkumar Hirani , the 'Munnabhai' series director , who has signed him for a sarcastic comedy based on the education system .

According to the grapevine , Ranbir has also been signed for the third in the 'Dhoom' series , referred to as 'D:3' . Rumours are rife that eforts were on to get the latest media touted superstar into the movie at any cost ! Even Yash Chopra was approached but Aditya Chopra stood his ground due to Ranbir's genuine talent .

Now that's a true Kapoor !
