To lend authenticity to the much delayed but surprise success 'Black Friday ' in India ( that many had seen already on pirated DVDs) , Anurag Kashyap took real journalists to play so in the movie .

The dialogue for the scenes of the journalists were not scripted . Rather , discussions were held before the shooting and the actors were asked to make their own dialogue !
