Black Buck Case : Missing Key Witness Re-appears , Says Salman Is Innocent

Without disclosing his whereabouts , Dulani has rolled back his statement recorded in the court four years ago , in which he had accused the actor of killing the black buck .

Changing his statement , Dulani said , " I have not seen Salman killing any animal . " He added that he was pressurised by forest officials and police to give statements against the actor . " I was under tremendous pressure to give statement against Salman ," he added .

Dulani had appeared before the court on January 24 and March 21 , 2002 and had stated that Salman and Pratap Singh (another accused), were involved in the poaching incident . After that for nearly four years his whereabouts were not known . In 2005 , the court treated Dulani's statement as final .

Reacting to allegations that he (Saraswat) and Salman had paid Dulani money to dissappear , the actor's lawyer Saraswat said , " Please do not drag my name into this , as I am not involved in Dulani's appearance or disappearance ."

The final verdict in the case is to be announced in just a few days time by the local Jodhpur court .
