Director Mani Ratnam liked Akshay Kumar's Andheri flat so much that he has reportedly bought it from the actor for three crores . However , it is not that Akshay is now homeless !

The self-made star has gone ahead and bought himself another couple of flats at Gandhigram Road in Juhu , Bombay for six crores . As per our information, Akshay has bought the ground and first floor flats of Prime Beach Apartments. Needless to add that wife Twinkle will be the interior decorater .

So what is the latest joke doing the rounds about Mani buying a permanent residence in Bombay ? Well , it is being said that the renowed director thought it better to be in Bombay , so that Aamir Khan ( who he will direct, later this year ) can have as many script sessions as he wants, as the two will now be in the same town !
