The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) were launched four years ago at the Millennium Dome in London and have subsequently been held at Sun City in South Africa , the Genting Islands in Malaysia and once again at The Dome at Northgate in Johannesburg South Africa in 2003 and in Singapore last year.

The voting for the 2005 edition , the sixth IIFA , to be held in Amsterdam this year , began last Wednesday at the JW Marriot Hotel in Mumbai with the IIFA Awards brand ambassador, Amitabh Bachchan arriving early to cast his vote for the nominations .

Held under the supervision of auditing company Price Waterhouse Coopers, the voting will be open till April 3.
