Shefali Chaya , who plays Amitabh´s wife and Akshay Kumar´s mother in ´Waqt-The Race Against Time´ , is the surprise packet of the film and everyone from those opposing the movie to those praising it (depending on which side of the fence they are !) have given her the thumbs-up.

According to her husband and the director of the film Vipul Amrutlal Shah , " everyone had a great time with her . She would come to the sets in jeans and a t-shirt and Akshay would tease her - Hi maa , tum kab aayee?".
