But will this story of a terrifying power struggle within the police department be any different from the similar kinds produced before or helmed by the director himself in the past ?.

Our in-house expert and noted astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this action drama:

“The title ‘DEPARTMENT’ is adding up to Number 42 – this octave of Number 6 is a fortunate number. It promises the assistance and association of those of rank and position with one's plans; it also denotes gain through love and the opposite sex; it is a favourable number when it comes out in relation to future events” explains Bhavikk.

“Although the meaning may sound positive, it is more of connected with matters of the ‘heart’, but as we know, this film deals with a totally different ‘department’ (pun unintended) and hence the contradiction in the genre and the title vibration may work against it” predicts Bhavikk.

He continues “But as far as the acting ‘department’ is concerned, all the three leading men will impress a lot. Big B in his 70th year (11th October 1942) will once again give a superlative performance. Sanju-baba (29th July 1959) will also give a good account of himself while Rana Daggubati in his 28th year (14th December 1984) is also going through a fantastic phase” adds Bhavikk.

“Alas! The same cannot be said about the captain of the ship – Mr.Ram Gopal Varma as in his 51st year (7th April 1962), seems like ‘lady luck’ is not exactly smiling on him and as a result, all his effort and hard work may not necessarily convert in to great box office figures” signs off Bhavikk on a straight forward note.
