Another cause of concern for Chopras is with regard to 'Fanaa' is the Gujarat issue . After Aamir Khan pledged support to Medha Patkar in the 'Narmada Bachao Andolan'(on the issue of rehabilitation of the affected) . The Narendra Modi government crossed swords with the actor and swore not not to allow the release of his starrers . The BJP-ruled stae state witnessed ugly scenes in cinemas which were screening Aamir's 'Rang De Basanti' , soon after he came out openly in support of the activists . According to the latest , Modi and his goons , under the garb of BJP's student wing ABVP( 'Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarti Parishad') have been able to browbeat the Gujarat Theatres Associations into not not releasing 'Fanaa' , who have no choice as they have been threatened with their theater being burnt down .
