Viveik Oberoi was touted as one of the most talented actors to have entered Bollywood and with the back-to-back success of 'Company' and 'Saathiya', he confirmed it further. He also impressed with his performance in 'Road'.

Unfortunately, he soon hit a bad patch, which had more to do with his personal life and relationships rather than any flaw in his acting. The industry and a particular section of the media were quick to pounce on him, specially after his break up with Aishwarya. In fact, there were doomsday predictions about his career being over and done with.

However, Viveik concentrated on his career and even maintained a dignified silence during and after the Abhi-Ash marriage. It now seems that good times are here again for the talented actor, as within two weeks, he has silenced his detractors with the solid 18.50 crore opening week of 'Shootout At Lokhandwala' ('SOAL') and the good start of last Friday's 'Fool N Final'.

While both are multistarrers, Viveik's performance has come in for special praise, more so as 'Maya Dolas' in 'Shootout At Lokhandwala', where he is pitted against the mighty Sanjay Dutt.

Here is hoping that Viveik's bright patch continues.
