'Munnabhai' Sequel Postponed ; 'Jaanemann' May Follow Suit

The much awaited sequel( though the makers don't call it that !) to the cult movie 'Munnabhai M.B.B.S. ' , 'Munnabhai 2nd Innings'/'Munnabhai Lage Raho' has moved ahead by a week . The official reason being given is the 'Ganpati' festival .The movie will now hit the theaters on September 1 .

Meanwhile , another biggie 'Jaanemann' too may not release on the announced date of August 25 . Additional shooting and post-production is being given as the reason for that .

However , the trade feels that just a 2-week gap between 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' and the two above mentioned August 25 releases , made the distributors uncomfortable and it is on their request that the movies may have been postponed .
