For the first time King Khan will be hosting a show 'Ankahee Paheli' to promote his new film . According to the man himself Shah Rukh , " Though I was initially reluctant to reveal the story of the film , the execution and presentation of the special , which has never been done before , will keep the 'Paheli' intact and the viewers guessing . "

'Ankahee Paheli' will also show clips from the making of the film , the songs and also some 'on the sets' sequences apart from the very Rajasthani theatre-like look created by Art Director , Muneesh Sappel for the film.

In this a half hour musical special episode on Star Plus , instead of the typical interviews and clips from 'Paheli' , the entire special will be presented in a colourful Rajasthani folk theatre style . Shah Rukh Khan and the musical group from Avikalp Theatre Group will be dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire.

A Gold Preview of 'Paheli' will also be aired on June 18 at 8 pm on Star Gold , showcasing some exclusive clips, making of the film , behind-the-scenes , interview with the director , actors and some of the finest scenes from the film .

'Paheli' is the story of a newly married girl and her ghost lover . The Shah Rukh-Rani Mukerji starrer , is directed by well known film maker Amol Palekar and also stars Juhi Chawla, Sunil Shetty , Anupam Kher and a cameo by the mega star Amitabh Bachchan.
