Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Amitabh-Rani starrer 'Black' swept the seventh I.I.F.A. at Dubai , winning the best actor (Amitabh) , best actress ( Rani) , best director (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) and best film awards , amongst others .

Meanwhile Shiny Ahuja( 'Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi') and Vidya Balan('Parineeta') were crowned the best newcomers . Composer-singer Himesh won the best male playback( 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' ) and Alisha in the best female category('Bunty Aur Babli') .

The trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and veteran poet Gulzar won the best music director and lyricist awards ( 'Bunty Aur Babli').

The next edition , that is the eighth I.I.F.A. is scheduled to be held in Yorkshire next year .
