'Apne' Sets Records At 43 Cinemas Of East Punjab

First week records were set at the following 43 theatres - Sarb Multiplex-Jalandhar, Narindra-Jalandhar, Orient-Ludhiana, Shingar-Ludhiana, Aanam-Amritsar, Nirman-Chandigarh, Tagore-Patiala, Minerva-Ambala, Laxmi-Yamunagar, Novelty-Karnal, Sarang-Sonepat, Shahi-Shimla, Bangar-Rohtak, Radhika-Rewari, Darpan-Mandi Dabwali, Balraj-Nabha, Sutlej-Nawanshahar, Majestic-Moga, Amar-Kotakpura, Bansal-Baghapurana, Rajpal-Muktsar, Sunil-Abohar, Moti-Sangrur, Paras-Kurekshetra, Ashoka-Kaithal, Ramindra-Sahnewal, Raja-Fazilka, Paradise-Jaltu, Shimla Talkies-Ferozepur, Jagatjit-Karputhla, Karan-Jalalabad, Jagmohan-Kural, Pushp-Pathankot, Onam-Mukerian, Lakhi-Tanda, Amar Mahal-Katra, Lal Palace-Jagraon, New Raj-Hoshiarpur, Adarsh-Khanna, Elite-Phagwara, J.R-Ropar, Ajaib-Bhatinda, Harjinder-Mullanpur.

The other 15 theatres playing the film in the circuit are - Fun-Manimajra Chandigarh, P.V.R-Gurgaon, D.T.M.M-Gurgaon, D.T.C.C-Gurgaon, S.R.S Omax-Gurgaon, P.V.R Sahara-Gurgaon, S.R.S-Faridabad, P.V.R-Faridabad, Neelam-Faridabad, Fun-Panipat, Capital-Ambala, Sun City-Hissar, Jewel-Jammu

The second week will also see records tumble in the circuit. Vikram Singh from Fun Cinemas of Chandigarh says "We had 'Apne' on 4 shows daily in the first week but now are having 8 shows daily in second week due to the demand and the way bookings are going it is very likely we will have 56 shows housefull".

According to the distributors Glamour Entertainment Pvt Ltd, shows have also been increased at Sarb Multiplex in Jalandhar and P.V.R Sahara, D.T.C.C, D.T.M.M in Gurgaon. Two prints have been added at Sunil-Ferozepur and Kamboj-Mansa to take the cinema count to a massive 60 in week 2.
