What’s common between Aamir Khan and top Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise besides drop-dead good looks, youthful charm, a huge fan-following and of course loads of talent ? Well, both have been rubbed the wrong way, by way of a political backlash due to their views on certain issues.

As we all know, Aamir Khan’s ‘Fanaa’ could not be released in Gujarat because of his opposing views with the Modi government on the Narmada dam issue. Similarly, Tom Cruise’s new film ‘Valkyrie’, a World War II drama, which focuses on a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, was denied permission to shoot in Germany because the government there did not approve of his self proclaimed belief in the renowned but controversial Church Of Scientology.
