Police in Bombay have arrested one of Shah Rukh Khan's security guards after he allegedly shot dead another guard at Khan's home. The film star was at his residence when the shooting took place early on Tuesday morning.

Khan's palatial bungalow 'Mannat' is heavily guarded and the incident happened inside the gates.

Police have been told it was a freak accident, but they say they are looking into all possibilities.

Security guards in neighbouring houses have suggested there was an argument between the two security guards, following which one of them shot the other.

There has been no immediate comment from Khan.
