After Bihar, 'Chakde! India' Is Tax-Free in Maharashtra
- Abid           Let us know what you think about this story

After Nitish Kumar's Bihar govenment announced tax exemption for the national sport based movie, Yash Raj's 'Chakde! India' has now been made tax-free, for a period of six months in Maharashtra, starting today.

In fact, the reliable sections of the trade have been calling for a tax-free status for 'Chakde! India', from the day of its release.

While we appreciate the Maharashtra government's stance on the matter, we are puzzled at Shiela Dixit's (Delhi government) dilly-dallying stance about the women centric movie, specially after all the spontaneous appreciation of the movie from our President, Pratibha Patil.
