'Lage Raho Munnabhai' Chopra & Multiplexes Revisit Tension
- Abid           Let us know what you think about this story

There was tension between the distributors of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' and the multiplex owners once again for the terms of sharing in the third and fourth weeks . Since the tension over terms between them at the time of release was resolved only at the eleventh hour , Vidhu Vinod Chopra had committed for only the first two weeks . The issue of the ratio of the sharing in subsequent weeks , therefore , arose again in the second week.

Chopra and his distributors demanded 42 percent of the nett collections in the third and fourth weeks( after walking away almost 60 percent in the first two weeks) , failing which they were ready to discontinue the film from dissenting multiplexes .

However , the matter was resolved rather quickly as no multiplex was willing to discontinue the film .

It is now clear that 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' is the film which will see the multiplexes tide over the lean period on 'Ramzan' .
