Now this one’s a modern day adaptation of William Shakespeare’s epic drama ‘Hamlet’ set in Kashmir. Also, it marks the third installment of director Vishal Bhardwaj’s famous trilogy after ‘Maqbool’ (2003) and ‘Omkara’ (2006).
“The title ‘HAIDER’ is adding up to Number 18 – this octave of Number 9 (Mars) is a symbol of materialism striving to destroy the spiritual side of the nature. It generally associates a person with bitter quarrels, social upheavals, revolution and in some cases; it indicates making money and position through wars. It is a warning of treachery, deception by others, danger from natural events such as storms, losses from water, fires and explosions. It also denotes a rayed moon from which drops of blood are falling. A wolf and a dog are struggling to lick this blood. A crab is moving hastily to join them. Did you see ‘creepy’ ?. All in all; it is not a lucky number and great caution and care is recommended while using this number in relation to future events” explains Bhavikk. “As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will strictly appeal to its target audience (the gentry class) who like watching dark, brooding cinema and those who frequent premium high-end multiplexes of metros, big cities etc.” predicts Bhavikk. “But wait…having said that; the current year 2014 which adds up to Number 7 (Ketu) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 1, 2, 4 and 7 people and the principal cast and crew of the film starting from Shahid Kapoor (25th February 1981), Tabu (4th November 1971), Kay Kay Menon (2nd October 1966), Irrfan Khan (7th January 1967), Vishal Bhardwaj (4th August 1965) and Siddharth Roy Kapur (2nd August 1974) all fall under this bracket which will prove to be a huge advantage for them” he adds. “No prizes for guessing the outstanding performances each of the actors will deliver (especially Shahid who will give his career’s best and Tabu in yet another stellar role) including Shraddha Kapoor (3rd March); but she might get slightly eclipsed against the tall order of heavy-weights” he adds further. “However, at the end of the day; all the critical acclaim and appreciation may not necessarily convert in to huge box office numbers and that shall pinch the investors involved with this project” signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
