More Honours Await Bachchan On November 4

After having received an honorary doctorate from a London University earlier this month , megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be conferred an honouris causa degree by the Delhi University on 4th November .

The honour is a tribute to Bachchan for his contribution to Indian cinema and also for his work as a goodwill ambassador of the UNICEF for a social cause .

The convocation will be particularly pleasing for Bachchan since he is also an alumnus of the University .

The others to be honoured along with the millenium star are noted cartoonist R.K. Laxman , distinguished chemist CNR Rao and Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit .
