As if Sanjay Dutt hasn't been through enough the past few months, filmmakers are still knocking on his door to get the man to sign on the dotted line. Appropriate or not? According to accomplished filmmaker Raj Sippy, he has nothing to be ashamed of. "I know only Sanju can do justice to this role, which Amitji played in Satte Pe Satta and for that I am going to meet Sanjay Dutt. I don’t need to seek a prior appointment with him because we have worked together in many films and share a good rapport," Sippy is reported to have said.
After SRK's swing and a miss in trying to re-enact AB Sr.'s role in DON, Raj Sippy would like to offer the honors to Dutt. Sippy was scheduled to meet with Dutt at the latter's Pall Hill residencein Bandra on December 11th. The announced film has tentatively been titled 'Seven.' Sanjay Dutt and Raj Sippy have worked together previously in Jeeva, Thanedaar, Qurbani Rang Layegi, Amaanat, and Salim-Akhtar's film which never saw the light of day.
