Karan Johar's next project, under his banner, 'Dharma Productions', to be directed by his assistant, Tarun Mansukhani, is one of the most awaited projects of 2008.

Originally planned as a Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai ( Bachchan) movie, it saw Saif and Aishwarya refusing their roles for personal reasons. The parallel male lead was finally accepted by John Abraham, and Priyanka Chopra agreed to step into Aishwarya's shoes ( there was a brief mention of Lara Dutta too).

However, the grapevine is abuzz with the latest, according to which Karan's favourite, Preity Zinta has now replaced Priyanka Chopra.
