Ramesh Sippy's 'Bluffmaster!' almost didn't release on 16th December . There was a claim on Sippy from the C.P. , C.I. and Rajasthan distributors of his previous films and they tried to stall the release of 'Bluffmaster!' till the dues were cleared .

Since the claims totalled 40 lakhs , it seemed a tension-bound situation till 14th December when the matter came up for hearing in a Bombay court .

Just as it appeared that the judge was going to pronounce his judgement in favour of the claiments , the tide turned in Ramesh Sippy's favour as his lawyer explained in detail his clients stand .

Ultimately , no stay was granted and 'Bluffmaster!' made it to the cinemas all over India including the aforementioned territories .
