![]() The promos have created a strong intrigue value about what the film is all about; but the big questions is – will the talented director R. Balki be able to showcase his genius this time as well?
“The title ‘SHAMITABH’ is adding up to Number 26 – this octave of Number 8 (Saturn) is one of the most unluckiest numbers as it indicates gravest warnings for the future and foreshadows disasters brought about by association with others; ruin by speculations, partnerships, unions and bad advice. If it comes out in connection with future events, one should carefully consider the path one is treading” explains Bhavikk. “As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will fail to connect with the masses and may appeal to a few critics and just a thin section of an audience who frequent multiplexes of metros/big cities etc.” predicts Bhavikk. “Also, the fate of most films rely heavily on the personal ‘stars’ (read luck) of its main protagonists and in this case Amitji’s (2nd October 1942) and Dhanush’s (28th July 1983) fortunes (at the moment) are not strong enough; and that shall dent its business even further” he adds. “Having said that, no prizes for guessing a sparkling chemistry they both would share on-screen; thereby winning people’s hearts and all the more fans in their kitty; including Akshara Haasan (12th October 1990) who would also make a confident debut pitting against two great actors in her very first film”. “But all said and done; R.Balki will miss the boat this time and for producers (Eros); it will turn out to be a losing proposition at the box-office” signs off Bhavikk on a clear cut note.
