The music has topped the charts already, but the big question is will first time director Vikramjit Singh be able to keep you glued for the entire film?

Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this T-Series production:

“The title ‘ROY’ is adding up to Number 10 - this octave of Number 1 (Sun) is symbolized by the ‘wheel of fortune’. It is considered auspicious as it represents honour, position, self-confidence, name, fame, affinity, rise and fall. The only thing is that this number is gullible and can be easily fooled and so it can earn or lose according to will. But in most cases, it has the capacity to act effectively on any plan and take it completion” explains Bhavikk.

“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will appeal only to a select audience who frequent multiplexes of metros/big cities etc.” predicts Bhavikk.

“Also, the fate of most films rely heavily on the personal ‘stars’ (read luck) of its main protagonists and in this case both Arjun Rampal (26th November 1972) and Jacqueline Fernandez’s (11th August 1985) fortunes are not that strong (at the moment); to help pull the initial crowds” he adds.

“In a special appearance Ranbir Kapoor (28th September 1982) will be earnest in doing his job; but his fans will be disappointed not to see him in a full-fledged role”.

“Last but not the least; for producer Bhushan Kumar this project will prove to be quite a dampener after his last critically acclaimed ‘Baby’” signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
