The film’s music has a great melody displaying the pain and pathos so essential for a subject like this. But will the film have a good run at the box office going by the track record of Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in the last few years?

Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this Vishesh Films and Fox Star co-production:

“The title ‘HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI’ adds up to Number 48 – this octave of Number 3 (Jupiter) is neither fortunate nor unfortunate. It indicates strong mental faculties of a person. But that person will have the tendencies to put all materials things on one side – not because one has to, but because they wish to do so. Hence this number can be powerful or indifferent depending upon the will or desire of that person” explains Bhavikk.

“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will mainly appeal to a more mature audience who like watching emotional sagas while the youth may want to stay away” predicts Bhavikk.

“But the release date of the film – 12th June 2015 (Number 3) goes in sync with the title vibration (48) and that will help the film grow with positive word of mouth” he adds without a pause.

“Having said that, the year 2015 which is adding to Number 8 (Saturn) is meant to be lucky for most Number 1, 3, 5 and 6 people in that case, Emraan Hashmi (24th March 1979) and Vidya Balan (1st January 1978) both fall under this bracket directly” he adds further.

“No prizes for guessing after a long wait they will receive a lot of appreciation for their respective roles; whereas the talented Rajkummar Rao (31st August 1984) will also deliver an earnest performance in a brief role”.

“All said and done, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ may not be a money-spinner for its makers (much as they would like to); but will most definitely be critically acclaimed and would prove to be one more feather in the illustrious cap of Mohit Suri” signs off Bhavikk on a positive note.
