 Now this one can be described as 'India's first destination wedding film' and the project is backed by some of the biggest names in the industry - Karan Johar, The Phantoms (director Vikas Bahl post 'Queen'), Fox Star Studios, Shahid Kapoor (post Haider) and Alia Bhatt (with a string of successes behind her). The promos and the music have already topped the charts; but the big question is - will this all convert into a 'blockbuster' of a movie?
"The title 'SHAANDAAR' adds up to Number 23 - an octave of Number 5 (Mercury) which is a fortunate one. It indicates success, help from superiors and protection from those in high places. It is a very lucky number in dealing with future events" explains Bhavikk. "As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will appeal to its target audience (especially the youth/families) but mainly in the metros, big cities etc. as the subject caters to more of a multiplex-going crowd" predicts Bhavikk. "Also, the fate of most films rely heavily on the personal 'stars' (read luck) of its main protagonists and in this case both Shahid (25th February 1981) and Alia's (15th March 1993) fortunes are in top order right now; and that alone will ensure a huge weekend; and the festive season will only add to the benefit". "But alas...! (he continues without a pause) "Like the saying goes, 'Too many cooks, spoil the broth'; the coming together of too many creative minds - Karan Johar (25th May 1972), Phantom Films (Anurag Kashyap - 10th September 1972), Vikramaditya Motwane (6th December 1976), Madhu Mantena and director Vikas Bahl) will dilute the overall impact and as a result; the euphoria would soon settle down after the initial craze is over" signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
