Top Tamil Stars Rajnikant, Kamal Hassan Call For Action Against Piracy

The bigwigs of the Tamil industry expressed solidarity with the crew of Tamil film 'Jaggubai', after almost the entire film was released on the Internet before its official release, and the film's producer broke down before reporters.

Rajnikant and Kamal Hassan along with the film's hero Sarathkumar, Director K S Ravikumar and others called for action against the latest form of piracy, which has continued to haunt the multi-million rupees Tamil cinema industry which churns out hundreds of films a year.

Rajnikant, who had backed out of the project earlier owing to differences, said that the "culprit could be among us," and called for introspection.
