Washington, Jan 8 (PTI) Singer Bruce Springsteen, one of the chief supporters of US President-elect Barack Obama, will perform in a free concert at the Lincoln Memorial on 18 January ahead of Obama's inauguration two days later at the White House. A host of stars are expected to perform at Washington DC on Obama's inauguration at the White House.

Springsteen earlier performed for Obama during the Democrat's election campaign last year and and also joined the President-to-be at a campaign stop in Cleveland, Ohio, Washington Post reported.

The 59-year-old rocker, one of Obama's biggest celebrity supporters, will perform a free concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on January 20, according to the newspaper.
