The normally suave Akshay Kumar will be seen playing a common man in Priyadarshan’s 'Khatta Meetha'.

Reveals a source “Khatta Meetha is a satire based on the road-mafia prevalent in Bihar and parts of UP. Based on a true incident, this film unveils the charade of the common man.”

For those who are unaware, Akshay’s banner Hari Om Productions will be producing 'Khatta Meetha.'

Akshay Kumar who is well renowned for his comedy as much as he is for his stunt performances seemed to be the apt person to play a comic common man much on the lines of R K Laxman’s famous character.

The star has had many ups with blockbuster films, the highest honor of a “Katana”, and off course he was the Indian Ambassador for the Olympics – Akshay Kumar till date is the only star in Bollywood to do justice to both his passions – film and sport.
