Ahmedabad, Jan 10 (PTI) Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who held a special screening of his latest flick 'Paa' for Narendra Modi here recently, was today showered with praise by the Gujarat Chief Minister who said the gesture by the actor imparted strength to his efforts for the development of the state.

"I met Amitjee earlier but this was the first instance of being with him at leisure...You must guess how much it must have touched my heart, knowing that he loves Gujarat so much," Modi wrote on his official blog.

"The words and gestures of Amitjee truly expressed his desire of serving Gujarat. The joy with which he has praised Gujarat is unique. He publicly expressed his goodwill for me.

Inspirational love expressed from such a senior dignitary like him fills me up with the strength to make my efforts stronger," the Gujarat CM wrote.
