 We love Kirket! Cricket fans in India don’t need a reason or season to celebrate the game, and nor is it JUST a sport for them.
Cricket is in their blood and someone who shares their sentiments and is really passionate about it, is Ajitpal Mangat, whose soon to be released movie ‘Victory’ deals with that very same passion. He says, ‘cricket is a sport which is a year round celebration, it is the lifeline of India, which is put across very well in of my movie’s songs – 'Kirket hai hamara jiwan bole India saara.' We are a nation who might disappointed by a loss one day but the very next day we glued back to the TV screens for the next match. So I have just made a film about the same obsession of the game.” We are sure that with so many real cricketers in a film for the 1st time ever, it wont be any lesser than a live match and the audiences will surely throng to the theatres.
