The still great looking Poonam Dhillon will make a comeback of sorts with Yash Chopra's new film, starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor. The pretty actress has been signed to play Shahid's mother in the film.

It may be recalled that Poonam made her real debut with Amitabh Bachchan's 'Trishul' (directed by Yash Chopra) and the pinnacle of her career was as 'Noorie', for the same banner that she is making a comeback with, Yash Raj Films.

Poonam has given up acting for the last few years but was seen playing Sreedevi's understanding friend (guest appearance) in Boney Kapoor's 'Judaai'.

Meanwhile, Poonam recently completed a film in Tamil. But as far as the Hindi screen is concerned, Yash Chopra's film, being directed by Anurag Singh, will be her comeback film after she stopped facing the cameras post 'Judaai'.
