If comedy was the flavour of the season in 2007, action might be the genre in vogue in 2008. Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, both will have at least one action film releasing this year. The remake of the Tamil blockbuster 'Ghajini', starring Aamir Khan, is an action love story. Salman's remake of 'Pokkiri', is another remake of a South (Tamil and Telugu) blockbuster and it is also an action love story.

Coming to the return of the 'Khiladi', Akshay Kumar's 'Singh Is Kinng' may have elements of comedy, but it predominantly has high adrenaline action in good doses. Akshay's 'Chandni Chowk To China' is another film which will have him back in his action 'avatar'.

Checking out some other projects, Sanjay Dutt's 'Kidnap', Yash Raj's multi-starrer 'Tashan', 'Tips' 'Race' and Abhishek Bachchan's 'Drona' are some other big action films slated for release this year.
