New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) For actor Irrfan Khan, 'Slumdog Millionaire' British director Danny Boyle is an artist beyond geographical limitations, one who has given Indian artistes and technicians their due credit. "Danny Boyle is not a British for me. An artist is always above geographical boundaries and religious bindings," says Irrfan, who plays the role of a police officer in the film which has earned 10 Oscar nominations.
The star confessed that he has become a 'Danny Boyle fan' after working with him in "Slumdog Millionaire". Irrfan is jubilant about the A R Rahman getting three nominations for the Oscar and feels that "the Oscar this time is definitely in our bag". However, the "Billo Barbar" star is all geared up for a special programme 'India Celebrates' that he is about to host for FOX History and Entertainment on this Republic Day. "In this programme we are trying to focus on some aspects like some rare compiled footage of 250 years of British rule in India," Irrfan says.
