´My Name is Khan´ :The Pains That Shah Rukh Khan Endured, Literally!
- Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant           Let us know what you think about this story

While filming ‘My Name Is Khan’, Shah Rukh Khan suffered severe migraine, SRK ignored it a few times and took pills. When that didn’t work, he saw the doctor.

The doc, sources say, found that the headache and neck pain was actually due to the posture and expression of Rizwan Khan, the character he plays in MNIK. Rizwan suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome(an autism-spectrum disorder where patients exhibit sings of physical clumsiness and atypical use of language). Rizwan has a habit of hanging his neck at a particular angle, and his eyebrows are raised at every scene.

This sure is some dedication by the hardworking actor which is visible in the promos as well . SRK seems to have got into the skin of a very difficult character. Well, as the saying goes, sweet is the fruit of labour! National Award this time?
