The unit of Shoojit Sircar's Amitabh Bachchan-Diya Mirza starrer, 'Shoebite', is presently progressing in the Himachal Pradesh capital, Shimla. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan had reached Shimla, last Monday, after having inaugurated Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's girls school in Daulatpur vilage of Fatehpur district in Uttar Pradesh.

While shooting progressed smoothly on Saturday ( yesterday) during the day time, last night actress Diya Mirza, got injured while giving a shot at the 'Simla British Resort'.

As per our local sources, Diya Mirza fell down and cried in pain as her left hand got injured. She was rushed to the local Indra Gandhi Medical College, where no fracture or grievous injury was detected, much to the relief of all concerned. Diya's left hand though has two stitches due to the injuries.

Here's hoping that 'Shoebite' progresses smoothly and Diya recovers soon.
