If Aamir Khan had his way, he’d love to undertake a trip of all-India, especially the rural areas, so that he’d learn more about the audience he is catering to through his films.

But obviously, Aamir can’t do it now that he is such a huge star because he’ll be treated as one wherever he goes.

The painstaking actor regrets that nobody gave him this advice – of travelling all over India to get a feel of the country and its people (in other words, the audience) – when he was starting out as an actor.

Quite uncannily, a similar opinion was expressed very recently by the 'Rob Roy' Hollywood star, Liam Neeson, though about roaming the whole world!
