Probably impressed by the grand opening of 'Ghajini', thanks in no small measure to the brilliant promotional efforts by its hero, Aamir Khan, Salman too has woken up to the benefits of going all out in marketing a film. What’s more, Salman has always had a soft corner for 'Wanted Dead And Alive' ever since he saw the Tamil/Telugu 'Pokkiri', the blockbuster of which 'Wanted' is a remake.

Little wonder then that he told producer Boney Kapoor to use him as much as he wanted, for the promotion of the film. The public is aware of the fact that Salman is averse to participating in promotional activities of his films, so this time, he would be making an exception. Salman saw the rush print of the film alongwith his father, writer Salim Khan, and the rest of his family on 29th December and they were all so excited with what they saw that Salman’s resolve to promote the film only became stronger
